Château La Verrerie

Château La Verrerie

Located in Puget-sur-Durance in the Luberon, Château La Verrerie is a historic estate dating back to the 18th century. Since 1981, the estate has been in the hands of the Descours family, who have revitalized the property and its vineyards. The 48 hectares of vines benefit from an exceptional terroir composed of clay-limestone soils, allowing the production of high-quality red, white, and rosé wines.

Château La Verrerie is particularly known for its powerful and complex red wines, mainly made from Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre grapes. Environmentally friendly viticulture practices and careful winemaking ensure balanced wines that faithfully reflect the unique character of their terroir.

Château Fond Vert

Nestled in the Vaucluse, in the heart of the Luberon, Château Fond Vert is a lesser-known but equally impressive estate. This château stands out for its commitment to organic and biodynamic farming. The vines, cultivated without pesticides or herbicides, produce exceptionally high-quality grapes.

The wines of Château Fond Vert result from an artisanal approach, with meticulous control at every stage, from the vine to the bottle. The reds are distinguished by their beautiful structure and aromas of red fruits and spices. The whites charm with their freshness and minerality.

Château La Canorgue

Château La Canorgue, located in Bonnieux, is an iconic estate in the Luberon region. This family of winemakers is known for its environmentally friendly practices, being one of the first to adopt organic farming in Provence. They have planted the 40 hectares of vines on clay-limestone soils, which promote a great diversity of grape varieties.

La Canorgue wines are celebrated for their elegance and finesse. The reds, primarily made from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, present complex aromas of ripe fruits and Provençal herbs. Fresh and aromatic, the whites and rosés are ideal for warm summer days.

Domaine de la Citadelle

Finally, Domaine de la Citadelle, located in Ménerbes, is a true gem of the Luberon. Founded in 1990 by Yves Rousset-Rouard, this estate quickly gained a reputation for excellence thanks to its characterful wines and exceptional setting. The 50 hectares of vines are cultivated organically, with particular attention to biodiversity and sustainability.

Domaine de la Citadelle produces a wide range of wines. There are powerful and structured reds, elegant and mineral whites, and fresh and fruity rosés, which are highly appreciated. In addition to its wine-growing activity, the estate houses a corkscrew museum, adding a cultural dimension to the visit.
